We joined Andrew Farmer from the excellent Folk and Lore podcast. There, we chatted about starting life in Belfast, Co. Antrim as an independent music promoter and the journey from there to becoming an amateur historian obsessed with the history of wartime Northern Ireland.
In 2000, I moved to Belfast and dipped my toes into the world of independent gig promotion where I first met Andrew Farmer. Since then, I’ve launched WartimeNI and Andrew has started the fantastic Folk and Lore podcast. We caught up to chat about music, history, and have a good old yarn about the last 10 years and what life was like in Northern Ireland during World War Two.
