Corporal Charles O'Halloran (13024253) served in the Pioneer Corps during World War Two. His last place of residence was 38 Rockville Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
He died at the Mater Hospital, Belfast, Co. Antrim on 27th January 1942 aged 47 years old. Corporal O’Halloran died on injuries sustained in a road traffic collision. A bus skidded at the Belfast Waterworks, Antrim Road, Belfast, Co Antrim killing the soldier and injuring a colleague Private Edward Hoptan.
