Aircraftwoman 1st Class Elizabeth Cooke (2098275) served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force during World War Two. Born in December 1917, she was the daughter of James Petrie Cooke and Catherine "Kitty" Cooke (née Atkinson) of Belfast, Co. Antrim.

Elizabeth had two younger sisters, Lily Cooke born on 27th September 1919, and Gwen Cooke born in August 1925. Her younger brother James Cooke was born in 1922.

Aircraftwoman Cooke died on 21st November 1945 aged 28 years old.

Elizabeth Cooke’s grave is in Section B4, Grave 857 of Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Co. Down.
