Lance Bombardier Frederick Gordon McCarroll (1469237) served in 23rd Battery, 8th (Belfast) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery during World War Two. He was the son of William Kyles McCarroll and Nellie McCarroll of Belfast, Co. Antrim.
Frederick was the husband of Margaret McCarroll of Belfast, Co. Antrim. He died on 27th January 1944 aged 42 years old.
Frederick Gordon McCarroll’s grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section D1, Grave 61 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim. His headstone bears the inscription:
