Leading Stoker George Ernest Elliott (D/KX 81795) served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was the son of Matthew Elliott and Mary Elliott of Belfast.

George was the husband of Margaret Elliott, also of Belfast. He died on 10th December 1946 aged 33 years old. George Ernest Elliott’s grave is in Section C2, Grave 264 of Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Co. Down. His headstone bears the inscription:
