Lance Corporal James Dumigan (6982426) served in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and No. 1 Commando during World War Two. He was the son of William James Dumigan and Christina Dumigan of Belfast, Co. Antrim.

James Dumigan died during the Battle of Kangaw on 22nd January 1945 aged 32 years old. His grave is in Section 3, Row G, Grave 1 of Taukkyan War Cemetery, Myanmar. His headstone bears the inscription:

Father, in thy gracious keeping leave we now they servant sleeping.
