Special Constable Maurice William Howe died on 16th April 1941. He served with the Ulster Special Constabulary during World Two.

His death occurred at his home at 9 Indiana Avenue, Belfast, Co. Antrim on the heaviest night of the Belfast Blitz. Many others died and hundreds became homeless as Luftwaffe bombs fell in Easter 1941.
