Sergeant Norman Clements Keenan (934645) served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve during World War Two. He was the son of William John Keenan and Elizabeth Keenan of Belfast, Co. Antrim.
He died on 21st May 1942 aged 22 years old. He was the pilot of Airspeed Oxford BG207 with RAF No. 14 (Pilots) Advanced Flying Unit when it crashed on a night time training exercise at Hall Farm, Egmanton, Nottinghamshire. Sergeant TH Campbell of the Royal Canadian Air Force also died in the crash.
Norman Clements Keenan’s grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section G, Grave 15 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
