Sergeant Norman Victor Henderson served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during the Second World War. He lived in Copperfield Street, Belfast.

Sergeant Norman Victor Henderson served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during the Second World War. He was born in 1902 in Belfast and enlisted in the 1920s.

Before the outbreak of the Second World War, Norman married Lena Henderson and the couple had a son also named Norman Victor Henderson. Norman Jr. was born in 1937 and the family lived at 49 Copperfield Street, Belfast.

In the King’s birthday honours in 1940, Sergeant Henderson received the Military Medal for his service at Dunkirk.

Norman Victor Henderson died on 10th December 1973. His family scattered his ashes in the Garden of Remembrance at Roselawn Cemetery, Belfast.
