Gunner Robert Spratt (1472242) served in 28th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery during World War Two. He was the son of William John Spratt and Agnes Spratt of 15 Bloomfield Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.

Robert had 3 brothers; William John Spratt, James Spratt, and Samuel Spratt. He also had 2 sisters; Elizabeth Spratt and Martha Spratt. Robert was the husband of Elizabeth Spratt (née Hill) of Belfast, Co. Antrim. The couple had a daughter named Eleanor Spratt together.

Robert Spratt died on 6th February 1946 aged 31 years old. His place of death was his brother in law W Hill’s house at 28 Bloomfield Parade, Belfast, Co. Antrim. His grave is in Section B1, Grave 78 of Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Co. Down. His headstone bears the inscription:
