Second Lieutenant Robin Scott served in the Royal Artillery during World War Two. He was the son of Robin Norman Cecil Scott and Alice Demaus Scott of Eisleben House, Stranmillis, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
Robin Senior was a director of John K Scott Ltd. Church Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim. Robin’s brother John Scott also served in the British Army seeing action in Kenya. He had a sister named Christina Scott.
Robin Scott died on 27th May 1940 aged 23 years old during the evacuation of Dunkirk, France. His name is on a family memorial at Section K, Grave 244 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim. On 25th March 1945, Christina Scott dedicated the new pulpit of St. Bartholomew’s Church, Stranmillis, Belfast, Co. Antrim to the memory of her parents and brother.
