Storekeeper William Claude Penny served in the Naval Auxiliary Personnel during World War Two. He was born on 29th April 1882 in Southampton, Hampshire.
He died of Syphilitic Meningoencephalitis at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, Co. Antrim on 7th January 1941 aged 58 years old. He served on the auxiliary anti-aircraft vessel HMS Springbank.
