War Graves in Ulster
The Commonwealth War Graves Commision honours over 1.7 million men and women from the Commonwealth forces who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars.
In many countries across Europe and beyond, there are Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemeteries. These are immaculately kept and tended with great care and respect.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission looks after many Second World War graves in Northern Ireland. The information below will allow you to view CWGC burials across Ulster in towns and villages throughout the province. As well as official Commonwealth War Graves Commission plots, there are also many men and women buried in family plots and commemorated on headstones and churchyard monuments.
We hope to list as many of these final resting places as possible, so if you know of a grave or memorial relating to the Second World War in your locality, please let us know.
