In the centre of Berlin’s Bebelplatz stands a memorial to the book burning of 10th May 1933. Designed in 1995 by Micha Ullmann, the memorial depicts empty bookshelves which could hold the 20,000 destroyed books. Photo taken on 23rd October 2017.
