160th Infantry Brigade

By May 1940, 160th Infantry Brigade was operational in Northern Ireland District. Their bases in the Southern Area centred around Portadown, Co. Armagh.

160th Infantry Brigade arrived in Northern Ireland before May 1940. Initially, it was in the Southern Area of Northern Ireland District based in Portadown, Co. Armagh. On 20th June 1940, the Brigade relocated to the new Southern Area along with the rest of 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division.
