34th Quartermaster Company arrived at Belfast, Co. Antrim on troop-ship Dutchess of Athol on 2nd March 1942. Also on board were elements of 133rd Infantry Regiment and 168th Infantry Regiment and 109th Ordnance Company. They had departed from Brooklyn, New York on 19th February 1942.
After training in Northern Ireland, this company saw service in North Africa and Italy.
