J.F. O'Rourke was the proprietor of the public house on the corner of Garmoyle Street and Dock Street in Belfast's Sailortown district during the Second World War. O'Rourke had taken over the premises from P. Hefferon in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
Over the years, the public has operated under many names including The White Horse, McMahon’s, and The Clarendon Bar. The premises remains a public house and still served the people of Belfast as McKenna’s Bar.
