Ashbrooke House stands in the picturesque 1,000-acre Colebrooke Estate near Brookborough, Co. Fermanagh. The grand Georgian residence was home to the Brooke family for over 200 years.
The Brooke’s have a strong military background with 23 members of the extended family serving in both World Wars. Of those, 18 never returned to Co. Fermanagh. Among photos on display at the house is one of General Sir Alan Brooke meeting with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Field Marshal Montgomery.
In 2017, a refurbished Ashbrooke House opened to the public for the first time. It is now a luxurious guesthouse with 8 bedrooms, a kitchen, and 3 reception rooms.
