Headquarters of the Overseas League was at Overseas House, 53 Royal Avenue, Belfast, Co. Antrim. The old building has long disappeared under what became the Castlecourt Shopping Complex.

On 21st May 1945, a reception took place for 2 new Brigades of the Belgian Army based in Northern Ireland. Around 100 soldiers attended along with Mrs. Rowland Byers, Miss Davidson, Mrs. Harry Martin, and Miss McAlery. Another member of the reception committee was the Right Honourable HGH Mulholland, Speaker of the Ulster House of Commons and Chairman of the Belfast Branch of the Overseas League.
