St. Malachy’s Convent School, Sussex Place, Belfast, Co. Antrim

On 4th July 1940, the Belfast Newsletter listed St. Malachy’s Convent School as a place from where unregistered children would be evacuated on Monday 8th July 1940.

This was part of an attempt to evacuate young people from Belfast a year before the Blitz.
