Flying Officer Anthony Beresford Tisdall (74693) served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. He was the son of Beresford Duff Tisdall and Hilda Mary Tisdall of Hendon, Middlesex, England.
Tisdall died on 16th October 1940 aged 21 years old. He was a member of the crew on Lockheed Hudson T9328 with R.A.F. 224 Squadron. The plane came down on Slieveanee Mountain, Cargan, Co. Antrim killing all 5 crew members.
Anthony Beresford Tisdall’s grave is in Section 24, Grave 7 of St. Catherine’s Church of Ireland, Killead, Co. Antrim.
