Sergeant Charles Cecil McKenna (1795560) served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve during the Second World War. He was the son of Chares K McKenna and Jessie McKenna of Belfast, Co. Antrim.
He died on 12th April 1944 aged 20 years old on board Avro Lancaster ME752 with RAF 50 Squadron. The bomber took off at 2054hrs on 11th April 1944 from RAF Skellingthorpe, Lincolnshire and disappeared without a trace. McKenna was an Air Gunner on the plane.
