Sister Emma Fleck (345058) served in Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service during the Second World War. She was the younger daughter of James Fleck and Emma Fleck of Kenjockity, Belle Isle, Dervock, Co. Antrim.
The 1939 Register of England Wales lists Emma at Central Middlesex County Hospital, Acton Lane, Middlesex, Surrey. There, she was a Hospital Probationer Nurse. Emma trained in the Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service and served in Singapore during the Second World War. She died on 22nd November 1947 aged 33 years old on board a ship lost at sea.
Her name is on Panel 22, Column 2 of the Brookwood 1939-1945 Memorial, Surrey.
