Corporal James Wright (542702) served in the Royal Air Force during World War Two. He was the son of Elizabeth Wright of Belfast, Co. Antrim. He was a nephew of Roseanna McDowell of 29 Frankfort Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
James died on 4th March 1944 aged 24 years old. He was serving in the RAF at the time and his place of death is registered as Merionethshire, Wales.
James Wright’s grave is in Section B, Row KB, Grave 68 of Milltown Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim. His headstone bears the inscription:
O Lord, grant unto him eternal rest.
