Civilian Joseph Patrick McFadden died on 7th March 1945 aged 18 years old. He was the son of John McFadden and Annie McFadden of 14 Granville Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
His death occurred at Poplar Hospital, East India Dock Road, London. The hospital opened in 1855 to treat those like McFadden who sustained injuries working in the busy docks.
His name is on the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour at St. George’s Chapel, Westminster Abbey, London.
