Armagh Road Presbyterian Church, Portadown, Co. Armagh dates back to 1867 when a congregation formed in the town. While life in the church has changed over the years, much of the old building remains as it was.

Few members of the congregation would recall the visit of the United States Army to Armagh Road Presbyterian Church during World War Two. On 2nd April 1944, around 600 people gathered to hear a group of black soldiers of the US Army perform gospel songs and spirituals in Portadown, Co. Armagh.
