Trinity Church stood on the corner of Unity Street and Trinity Street in an area of North Belfast unrecognisable today.

Unity Street ran north from what was once called Upper Library Street but today is Carrick Hill. Trinity Church and much of the surrounding area fell victim to Luftwaffe bombs in The Easter Raid of the Belfast Blitz in April 1941.

As high explosive bombs, incendiaries, and parachute mines fell, the church spire collapsed. All Air Raid Precaution Wardens at a nearby ARP Post died in the incident. Modern housing now occupies the space where the church and housing once stood.
