Private Alfred Lemm (3386389) served in 1/6th Battalion Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment during the Second World War. He was the son of Alfred Lemm and Alice Lemm, and the husband of Frances Bronagh Lemm of Rostrevor, Co. Down.

Alfred Lemm died on 16th July 1944 aged 24 years old. His grave is in Section I, Row B, Grave 3 of Fontenay-le-Pesnel War Cemetery, Tessel, Normandy, France. His headstone bears the inscription:

In loving memory of my dear husband. May he rest in peace. Amen.
