Private Bernard Joseph Robinson (4927283) served in 1/6th Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment during the Second World War. He was the son of William Edmund Robinson and Christina Mary Robinson (née Ashcroft) of Liverpool, Lancashire.

He died on active service in Belfast on 6th July 1942 aged 20 years old. His territorial battalion was part of 59th (Staffordshire) Infantry Division based in Northern Ireland at the time.

Bernard Joseph Robinson’s grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section CS, Grave 90 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast. His headstone bears the inscription:
