Rifleman Charles Doyle (7011327) served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during the Second World War. Before the outbreak of war, he lived in Belfast.
Rifleman Doyle died on 15th May 1940 aged 27 years old. At this time, 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles was part of the British Expeditionary Force. As part of the divisional rear-guard, they helped hold the city of Louvain.
Charles Doyle’s grave is in Plot 27, Grave 3 of Kessel-Lo Churchyard, Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium.
