Fusilier David Francis Prosser (4193168) served in the Royal Welch Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was the son of Walter Austin Prosser and Annie Prosser (née Jones) of Machynlleth, Powys, Wales.
David was the husband of Jeannie Prosser (née McMaster) of Newtownards, Co. Down. He died at Ards District Hospital, Newtownards, Co. Down on 3rd July 1944 aged 27 years old.
David Francis Prosser’s grave is in Section 29, Grave 86 of Movilla Cemetery, Newtownards, Co. Down. His name is on the Machynlleth War Memorial, Powys, Wales. His headstone in Northern Ireland bears the inscription:
