Private Edmund Horzman Doggart (7521595) served in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the Second World War. He was the only son of the late Edmund H. Doggart and Jean Doggart of 62 Joseph Street, Belfast. Edmund Senior died on 4th February 1927 having served in the Royal Navy during The Great War.

In Belfast, Doggart was Quartermaster of No. 5 Detachment British Red Cross Society. Known as Teddy, he died at Woolaston Hospital, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales on 4th March 1940 aged 21 years old.

Edmund Horzman Doggart’s grave is in Section F5, Grave 569 of Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Co. Down. A funeral service took place on 9th March 1940.
