Able Seaman Edward Harte (D/JX 192733) served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. Born in Belfast, he was the son of Edward Harte and Mary Harte.
Able Seaman Harte died on 22nd October 1940. He served at H.M.S. President III. This was a shore base established on 28th August 1939 in Bristol, England to train gunners for Defensively Equipped Merchant Ships.
Edward Harte’s grave is in Section B, Row NG, Grave 46 of Milltown Cemetery, Belfast.
