Fusilier George Kennedy (7047367) served in 1st Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was the son of James Kennedy and Ellen Kennedy of Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh.
George Kennedy died on 7th July 1944 aged 25 years old. His grave is in Section I, Row A, Grave 9 of Naples War Cemetery, Italy. His headstone bears the inscription:
Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev.II.10.
