Lance Corporal John McClune (6979069) served in 11th Battalion The Parachute Regiment, Army Air Corps during the Second World War. Born in 1919, he was the son of John McClune and Isabella McClune (née Malcolm) of Belfast.
John McClune died on 24th September 1944 aged 25 years old during Operation Market Garden. His grave is in Section 26, Row A, Grave 11 of Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Gelderland, Netherlands.
