Private John Morrison (13037828) served in the Pioneer Corps during World War Two. He was the son of Joseph Morrison and Elizabeth Morrison of Derrinraw Road, Tartaraghan, Portadown, Co. Armagh, and husband of Margaret H Morrison of Portadown, Co. Armagh.
John Morrison died at Armagh Sanatorium, Armagh, Co. Armagh on 13th February 1944 aged 45 years old. There, he received treatment from Dr. Robinson. Morrison’s grave is in the Old Ground Section, Grave 179 of Drumcree Church of Ireland, Portadown, Co. Armagh. His headstone bears the inscription:
