Corporal John Patrick O'Halloran (7011733) served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during the Second World War. He was the son of John O'Halloran and Bridget O'Halloran of Belfast.

He died between 28th May 1940 and 2nd June 1940 aged 26 years old during Operation Dynamo. During the fighting, 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles helped hold the rearguard of the British Expeditionary Force as they retreated to Dunkirk.

John Patrick O’Halloran has no known grave. His name is on Column 128 of the Dunkirk Memorial, Dunkirk, France.
