Rifleman John Sedgwick (24692) served in 30th Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during World War Two. He was the son of William Sedgwick and Agnes Sedgwick of Belfast, Co. Antrim, and husband of Margaret Sedgwick of Belfast, Co. Antrim.
John Sedgwick died on 27th March 1942 aged 51 years old. His grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section T1, Grave 412 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim. His headstone bears the inscription:
He gave all in the cause of liberty.
