Private Joseph Nixon (13007973) served in the Auxiliary Military Pioneer Corps during World War Two. He was the son of Thomas Nixon and Ellen Nixon (née Duffy) of Sackville Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim, the husband of Violet Jane Nixon (née Lindsay) of 55 Broom Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
He died at Broadgreen Hospital, Edge Lane Drive, Liverpool, Lancashire on 22nd March 1940 aged 41 years old.
Joseph Nixon’s grave is in the Screen Wall Section 11, Church of England Collective Grave 46 of West Derby Cemetery, Liverpool, Lancashire.
