Gunner Leslie Baird (1109775) served in 10th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery during the Second World War. He was the son of Andrew Dunn Colhoun and Mary Elizabeth Baird of Fyfin, Co. Tyrone.
Leslie Baird died on 19th April 1944 aged 24 years old. His grave is in Section 3, Row A, Grave 10 of Kohima War Cemetery, India. His headstone bears the inscription:
In loving memory of my dear son Leslie. Always remembered by his loving mother.
