Rifleman Robert McFerran Stewart (6977397) served in 1st Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during the Second World War. He was the son of Hugh Boal Stewart and Ellen McFerran Stewart of Monkstown, Co. Antrim.
Robert McFerran Stewart died on 12th May 1943 aged 30 years old. His grave is in Section SS, Grave 40 of Carnmoney Cemetery, Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim. His headstone bears the inscription:
