Corporal Samuel Kennedy (7520783) served in 4th Light Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps during the Second World War. Born on 4th March 1902, he was the son of Thomas Kennedy and Mary Kennedy (née Blaney) of 4 Mossvale Lane, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. He was the husband of Elizabeth Kennedy (née Clarke) of Lurgan, Co. Armagh.
Samuel Kennedy died on 14th April 1941 aged 39 years old. His grave is in Section 4, Row D, Grave 19 of Phaleron War Cemetery, Greece. His name is on the Lurgan War Memorial, Lurgan, Co. Armagh. His headstone bears the inscription:
