Private Thomas Finney (6982893) served in the Pioneer Corps during the Second World War. He was the son of the late Thomas Finney and Margaret Patterson (formerly Finney) of 46 Moltke Street, Belfast. He was the husband of Kathleen May Finney of 22 Moltke Street, Belfast.
Thomas Finney died on 16th July 1945 aged 37 years old. His grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section Q1, Grave 298 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast. Reverend CW Maguire conducted the funeral service. His headstone bears the inscription:
