Rifleman Thomas Henry Williamson of Lisburn, Co. Antrim fought with Second Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles in northern France following the D-Day Landings of 6th June 1944.

Rifleman Thomas Henry Williamson (7019939) served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during the Second World War. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William James Williamson of Lisburn, Co. Antrim.

Thomas Henry Williamson died on 4th August 1944 aged 22 years old. His grave is in Section XVI, Row C, Grave 28 of Banneville-la-Campagne War Cemetery, Normandy, France. His name is on the Lisburn War Memorial, Lisburn, Co. Antrim. His headstone in France bears the inscription:
