Warrant Officer Class II Thomas Lyons (7009916) was a Company Sergeant Major in 6th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was the son of James Lyons and Charlotte Edith Lyons, and the husband of Charlotte Lyons of Belfast.
He died on 15th June 1945 aged 41 years old. During the Second World War, he was Mentioned in Despatches.
Thomas Lyons’ grave is in Section 1, Row F, Grave 8 of Celle War Cemetery, Celle, Germany. His name is on the war memorial in Fitzroy Presbyterian Church, Belfast. His headstone in Germany bears the inscription:
