Stoker 1st Class William Agnew Wilson (D/KX103088) served in the Royal Navy during World War Two. He was the son of Joseph Wilson and Isabella Wilson of 37 Arosa Parade, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
He died of acute heart failure on 12th February 1942 aged 22 years old. At the time of his death, he served on the convoy escort destroyer HMS Churchill (I45). HMS Churchill was one of several ships involved in the hunt for the German battleship Bismarck.

William Agnew Wilson’s grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section D, Grave 17 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim. His headstone bears the inscription:
