Gunner William Edward Spridgeon (4795773) served in the Royal Artillery during World War Two. He was the husband of Martha Spridgeon of 75 Thorndyke Street, Belfast, Co. Down.
William Edward Spridgeon died on 6th February 1947 aged 41 years old. His grave is in Section B4, Grave 696 of Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Co. Down. His headstone bears the inscription:
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
