Bombardier William McWilliams (6979861) served in 119th Battery, 75th Anti-Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery during the Second World War. He was the son of William James McWilliams and Ellen Jane McWilliams of Derryharney, Co. Fermanagh.

William McWilliams died on 27th June 1944 aged 23 years old. His grave is in Section XII, Row D, Grave 6 of Bayeux War Cemetery, Bayeux, Normandy, France. His headstone bears the inscription:

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember him. At rest.
