In 1943, several Air Aid Precautions or A.R.P. Posts stood along the Falls Road in West Belfast. Among those listed in the 1943 Belfast Street Directory was an A.R.P. Post and First Aid Point in the Old School House.
The Old School House stood at 537 Falls Road, Belfast where Lake Glen Avenue joined the road. Today, a modern building stands on the site. It is the home of the Irish Republican Felons’ Association, better known as The Felons’ Club.
