On 24th June 1942, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited Belfast on HMS Phoebe. There, they inspected service personnel of the Royal Naval forces.
25th June
On 25th June 1942, King Geoge VI and Queen Elizabeth inspected United States Army forces' exercises at camps and training grounds across Northern Ireland.
26th June
On 26th June 1942, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited the town of Larne, Co. Antrim where they inspected members of the Royal Navy and US Marines.

On 29th June 1941, a road traffic collision occurred on the road between Belfast and Bangor, Co. Down. It involved 3 cars and members of the Royal Navy.
